Our flexible meeting spaces, including a ballroom for up to 400 guests, are ideal for organizing events.Do you see yourself as a Security Manager with Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Bangsar?We are seeking a passionate Security Manager who can combine informality and fun with professionalism and sophistication, leaders with an inclusive spirit who embrace individuality and inject positivity into their work environments.Our colleagues are fundamental to delivering memorable experiences, and we are committed to creating a culture as diverse as the distinct hotels in our portfolio.Your day to dayEvery day is different, but you'll mostly be:Establish good communication and good will with informal leaders and relevant members of local communityCoordinate and organize the day to day operations of the department including planning and controllingManage the develop and implementation of departmental standardsEnsure all patrolling, inspection and escort duties are performed to a high standardMonitor and maintain all product and performance standards and ensure action is taken when standards are not metEnsure firearms and other weapons are not carried by staff when on dutySupervise emergency drillsOversee the security department including layout of security personnel and their detailed and regular trainingPerform leadership training for all senior security personnelCheck and analyze all incoming reports to formalize action planMaintain the loyalty and discipline of all security personnelEnsure the all security personnel as well as hotel's staff are adhering to P&P and security proceduresEstablish good cooperation with hotel's senior staff with other hotelsCoordinate with the local investigator in crimes & accident handling and investigatingPrepare security plan for specific events (seminar, conference, government guest, with wedding etc.)Works with Human Resources on manpower planning and management needsWorks with Director of Finance in the preparation and management of the Hotel's budget.Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensiblyInitiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangersLog security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirementsWhat we need from youFor you to be the ideal candidate, you should have the following:College or vocational training4 years of security and safety experience and/or military/law enforcement experience, including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceDemonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.Certification in safety and training and/or licensed as a Security Officer or Law Enforcement Officer may be required.
