Job Description


Our client is a global semiconductor manufacturer and they are looking for a Security Manager to develop, implement and enforce company policies and procedures to protect the organisation\'s employees and assets. You will be working within the facility management department to manage cross-functional teams and maintain compliance with relevant regulatory requirements throughout the site. Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive security strategy aligned with the overall organizational goals and objectives. Identify security risks specific to the manufacturing facility, conduct risk assessments, and recommend mitigation strategies. Collaborate with the local senior management, facilities organization, HR, IT, and legal to align security initiatives with facility operations. Oversee day-to-day security operations, including access control, surveillance systems, guard management, and physical security measures. Monitor and analyze security incidents, conduct investigations, and maintain incident reporting and response protocols. Manage security personnel, contractors, and third-party vendors involved in security services. Coordinate with external agencies, such as law enforcement and emergency services, as necessary. Implement and maintain security systems and technologies, including access control systems, CCTV, intrusion detection systems, and alarms. Regularly assess the effectiveness and reliability of security systems, recommend improvements, and coordinate system upgrades or installations. Ensure proper integration and compatibility of security systems with other facility systems (e.g., fire alarm, HVAC, etc). Develop, test, and maintain crisis management plans for various scenarios, such as fires, natural disasters, medical emergencies, or security incidents. In collaboration with the safety team, conduct drills, exercises, and simulations to test emergency response plans and assess staff readiness. Coordinate with the Facilities Organization and other relevant departments to establish and maintain emergency communication systems. Ensure compliance with applicable security regulations such as Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT), laws, codes, and industry standards. Keep up-to-date with relevant security regulations and standards and implement necessary changes to security programs. Liaise with internal auditors during security audits and assessments. Assist in addressing security-related findings and implementing corrective actions. Develop and deliver security training programs and materials for employees, contractors, and visitors. Conduct periodic security awareness campaigns to educate stakeholders on security best practices, policies, and procedures. Collaborate with the Facilities, Safety, and Human Resources to integrate security elements into employee onboarding processes. Conduct routine risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and recommend risk mitigation measures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop incident response plans and ensure effective incident management. Lead or assist in the investigation of security incidents, gather evidence, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Requirements: A relevant Bachelor\'s degree, such as Security Management, Criminal Justice, or Business Administration, is a prerequisite. Desirable qualifications include advanced degrees or certifications like CPP, PSP, or CISSP. A deep understanding of security best practices, standards, and regulatory mandates is essential. Proven experience in formulating and executing security programs, policies, and procedures is required. Familiarity with various physical security systems is expected, including expertise in access control systems like Ccure 9000, Genetec Video Management System, and alarm systems. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary to effectively recognize and address security risks. The capability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams and convey security concepts to non-technical stakeholders is of paramount importance. Robust leadership and management proficiencies are vital for supervising security operations and personnel. Expertise in risk assessment methodologies and incident response strategies is a must.
