Job Description


Overview:
The position of Security Officer consists of maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, business partners and employee\'s by establishing and enforcing security policies and procedures. Accomplish organization goals in securing the people, property and proprierty information. Responsibilities:

  • Write or review security-related documents, such as incident reports, proposals, and tactical or strategic initiatives
  • Train subordinate security professionals or other organization members in security rules and procedures
  • Coordinate security operations or activities with public law enforcement, fire and other agencies
  • Assist in emergency management and contingency planning
  • Respond to medical emergencies, bomb threats, fire alarms, or intrusion alarms, following emergency response procedures
  • Prepare reports or make presentations on internal investigations, losses, or violations of regulations, policies and procedures
  • Identify, investigate, or resolve security breaches
  • Monitor security policies, programs or procedures to ensure compliance with internal security policies, licensing requirements, or applicable government security requirements, policies, and directives
  • Supervise subordinate security professionals, performing activities such as hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, or disciplining
  • Plan, direct, or coordinate security activities to safeguard company assets, employees, guests, or others on company property.
  • Collect and analyze security data to determine security needs, security program goals, or program accomplishments

Scheduled Waste Competent Person
  • Understand and implement legal requirements on scheduled waste management
  • Identify, classify, and categorize scheduled wastes
  • Implement sound and effective scheduled waste management practices
  • Implement plan for full compliances with the regulatory requirements of the Environmental Quality (Scheduled Wastes) Regulations, 2005
  • Proper management of scheduled wastes storage, packaging, and labelling
  • Identity methodologies to reduce, reuse, recycle or to recover scheduled wastes as well as to treat and dispose
  • Maintain proper record keeping and reporting avenues
  • Ensure complete adherence to related legislation and regulation as a waste generator
Qualifications:
Requirements
  • Diploma In Business administration higher or equivalent from recognize university/college
  • More than 3 years experiences In the supervisory capacity
  • Working Knowledge in facilities/building security management.
  • Knowledge of International standard operations preferably at least ISO9001 & 14001
  • Competent Fire Safety/Safety & Health member is an advantages
  • Good supervisory, communication, training motivational and Interpersonal skills
  • Team-player, self-driven, hands-on with good interpersonal and strong analytical skills
