The

Loss Prevention Officer

plays a critical role in protecting the hotel's assets, guests, and employees by preventing theft, fraud, and damage. This position involves monitoring hotel premises, conducting security patrols, investigating suspicious incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety and security policies. The ideal candidate is vigilant, detail-oriented, and experienced in hotel security operations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises to deter and detect theft, vandalism, and other security breaches. Monitor surveillance systems and respond promptly to alarms or suspicious activities. Investigate incidents of theft, fraud, or property damage, documenting findings and assisting in resolutions. Supervise and coordinate activities of other Loss Prevention Personnel to ensure effective coverage and response. Collaborate with hotel management and local authorities to enforce security policies and procedures. Provide support during emergency situations, including crowd control and evacuation assistance. Maintain detailed reports of security activities, incidents, and investigations.

Key Requirements

Previous experience in security or loss prevention, preferably within the hospitality or hotel industry. Proven ability to supervise and coordinate a security team effectively. Strong observational skills and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and staff. Ability to respond calmly and decisively in emergency situations. Basic knowledge of security systems, CCTV monitoring, and safety protocols. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, nights, and public holidays. Applicants must be Malaysian citizens.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
