Job Title: New Product Management (NPM) Engineer

Role Overview:

As an NPM Engineer, you will be a key driver in the successful introduction of new semiconductor products into high-volume manufacturing (HVM). You will serve as the interface between product design engineering group, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams, ensuring seamless product transitions, operational readiness, and strategic alignment across functions.

Key Responsibilities:-

1. New Product Introduction (NPI) Execution

- Lead end-to-end NPI programs from concept to high volume manufacturing.
- Coordinate build plans, material readiness, and production schedules.
- Monitor product lifecycle milestones and ensure timely execution.
- Prepare phase gate reports for NPI releases to high volume manufacturing

2. Manufacturing Readiness

- Validate process flows, tooling, and material readiness for sample execution.
- Conduct PFMEA and QCP reviews to ensure robust process control.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Host alignment forums with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and planning teams.
- Escalate and mitigate inline issues with site leadership to protect operational stability.
- Interface with design teams to ensure DFM compliance.

4. Automation & Digital Enablement

- Architect and deploy automation solutions to reduce manual touchpoints and improve labor productivity.
- Build data visualizations and dashboards to support decision-making.

5. Quality & Risk Management

- Communicate risks and escalate issues proactively to prevent network-level disruptions.

Qualifications:-

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor or PCBA manufacturing.
- Fresh graduates and entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
- Proficient in project management skills
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, React/Angular, Power BI/Tableau, and RPA tools.
- Strong understanding of NPI lifecycle, capacity planning, and manufacturing logistics.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):-

- Labor cost/hour savings through automation.
- Cycle time (CTx)
- On-Time Delivery (OTD) and inventory health (WIPx).
- Qual success rate and yield by group.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
