The School

The school is situated in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, and provides an international curriculum for both expatriate and Malaysian students. The school operates two streams on the same site; one international (IPC, National Curriculum for England, IGCSE) and one following the Malaysian curriculum.

The school offers a rich, quality education and caters for the children of expatriates working and living in Malaysia and for Malaysian families. The student population comprises of 24 different nationalities with teaching staff both expatriate and Malaysian.

Johor Bahru is the Southernmost city in Malaysia and sits just across from the border with Singapore. It is one of Malaysia\'s largest and most diverse cities. There are lots of Malaysian tropical islands close by for weekend trips!

School Requirements * A Degree in Counseling, preferably Master in Counseling.

• At least 3 years experience
• Show knowledge and understanding of counselling principles, methods and techniques
• Ability to offer support to SEN students
• To provide strategies to help teachers meet the needs of students
• Candidates should be enthusiastic, adaptable and highly committed to contributing to the development of the Humanities department.
• Be a self-starter and a team player.
• Able to contribute to the wider School Community.
