Position Overview

The Senior 3D Animator & Motion Graphic Artist is responsible for developing high-quality 3D animation, motion graphics, and visual effects that enhance VISIOLAB's video production. This role combines creative design and technical expertise to produce impactful videos for our clients. The position also involves supervising junior designers and collaborating with editors and producers to ensure all visual elements align with client objectives and VISIOLAB's creative standards.

The Responsibilities

Lead the design and execution of 3D animation, motion graphics, and visual effects for video productions, advertising, and digital media. Supervise and mentor junior motion graphic artists to ensure creative consistency and technical accuracy. Collaborate with producers, creative directors, and editors to conceptualize and visualize complex ideas and storyboards. Develop 3D assets, environments, and motion sequences using industry-standard tools. Handle compositing, texturing, lighting, and rendering to deliver polished and realistic outputs. Integrate animated elements seamlessly into live-action footage and visual storytelling. Ensure all projects meet technical requirements for various platforms (broadcast, social media, and online advertising). Maintain project file organization, backup, and documentation according to VISIOLAB's workflow standards. Review and refine animation work based on feedback from the Head of Production or clients. Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Production.
Skills and Competencies Required

Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in 3D animation and motion design for corporate or commercial use. Proficiency in software such as Blender, Cinema 4D, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve (or similar). Solid understanding of animation principles, timing, camera movement, and visual storytelling. Experience in texturing, lighting, rendering, and compositing. Strong design sense with an eye for detail, color, and composition. Ability to work collaboratively within tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Positive attitude, adaptability, and initiative to explore creative techniques and improve production quality.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
