Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

Oversee the Company's accounts and ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly account closing.

Prepare financial statements, including Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, Cashflow Projection and order book.

Develop and maintain accounting schedules to support the annual statutory audit.

Consolidate and prepare monthly reports for management.

2. Cash Flow & Banking

Liaise with banks and financial institutions on matters related to banking and project financing.

Monitor daily cash flow, collections and disbursements.

Prepare bank reconciliations, cheques and official receipts.

Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and monitor fund availability for project operations.

Handle domestic and international payments and fund transfers.

3. Accounts Receivable & Payable

Maintain and update the Accounts Receivable and Debtor Aging Report.

Verify and process suppliers' and subcontractors' invoices in accordance with project requirements.

Monitor collection of project progress claims and follow up with clients when necessary.

Competency required

Education

: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or MICPA will be an added advantage.

Experience

: Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance, preferably within the construction, civil engineering, or related industries.

Technical Skills

:

Proficiency in accounting software (SQL) and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Strong understanding of project accounting, progress claims, and cost monitoring.

Familiarity with local accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory reporting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
