• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior staff while managing multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage general ledgers, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and monthly account closing to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
• Review and approve accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial reports prepared by junior team members.
• Ensure timely processing of supplier payments, operating expenses, and staff monthly claims while maintaining accurate financial records.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, variance analysis, and budget tracking to provide insights for management decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax requirements, and company policies.
• Work closely with auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and government authorities for reporting and regulatory matters.
• Assist in the development and improvement of accounting policies, processes, and internal controls.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior accounting staff to enhance team efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and operational efficiency.
