Generate and deliver accurate, timely financial reports and performance analyses to management.
Handle the full set of accounts, including tasks such as billing, cheque issuance, bank reconciliations, and all activities required for account closing.
Keep precise and trustworthy financial records, procedures, and related documentation. Ensure monthly management accounts and accompanying schedules are prepared accurately and submitted by the required deadlines.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors on general ledger and reporting issues, and work with tax consultants on tax matters to ensure timely submission of accounts and tax filings. Also communicate with banks regarding financial facilities.
Prepare company forecasts, budget reports, and cash flow projections. Calculate tax provisions and engage in tax planning activities.
Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and the organization's internal policies.
Support the preparation of annual budgets, management reports, quarterly updates, statutory financial statements, and the annual report.
Provide assistance to the manager or team lead on daily operational issues and respond to ad-hoc reporting needs from management.
Maintain monthly balance sheet schedules.
Arrange and process payments for the company.
Perform other tasks or assignments as required.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
Experience with auditing and tax is highly appreciated.
Required skill(s): MS Excel and AutoCount accounting software.
