In the role of Senior Accountant within our Accounting Team, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial records and processes.

What you\'ll do
\xe2\xad\x90 Review and verify the accuracy of monthly financial records prepared by the bookkeeping team to ensure they are completed and filed on time.
\xe2\xad\x90 Review and verify the payroll for personal tax filing or IR8A yearly, ensuring adherence to tax regulations.
\xe2\xad\x90 Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies, guaranteeing that our financial practices are in line with industry standards.
\xe2\xad\x90 Acting as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their accounting-related queries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
\xe2\xad\x90 Identifying inefficiencies in accounting software and processes, and proposing and implementing solutions to streamline workflows for increased productivity.
\xe2\xad\x90 Being adaptable to ever-changing accounting systems and providing constructive feedback to enhance the work experience for the team.
\xe2\xad\x90 Staying updated with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance and incorporate best practices.
Who you are
\xe2\x9c\x85 A degree or diploma in accountancy is required, and possessing ACCA/ISCA certification would be a plus.
\xe2\x9c\x85 3-5 years experience in an outsourced accounting practice/external audit firm
\xe2\x9c\x85 A strong foundation in accounting principles (IFRS/SFRS), including experience in handling UFS, payroll, personal tax, GST, accounts consolidation etc.
\xe2\x9c\x85 The ability to manage your workload independently, work under pressure, and multitask effectively.
\xe2\x9c\x85 A strong drive to excel professionally, combined with the motivation to guide and motivate others within the team.
\xe2\x9c\x85 Experience in implementing new systems to move away from traditional accounting methods would be an added advantage.
