For more information, visitPurpose of Position:Rationalization of existing entities. Working together with Regional Finance/Tax/Legal/Treasury/Corporate teams, in order to ensure Legal Entities Rationalization (LER) targets are achieved. This role will also be required to deal with external Consultants and Local regulatory Authorities.Job Scope:

• Location governance - a good understanding of local Statutory compliances, Taxation and legal principals across Asia.
• Ability to adapt and interpret internal compliance requirements
• To ensure corporate governance and compliances are up to date for assigned entities
• To compile all information relating to any potential risk/compliance matters
• Balance sheet clean up and efficiency optimizing
• Engage & work closely with external consultants, tax agents and local authorities as required
• Support company secretary matters as required
• Familiar with complex legal structure
• Drafting and reviewing internal memos/recommendations, planning/organizing approvals as per company DOA
• Complete ad-hoc reports/assignments as requested

QualificationsCompetencies:

• A qualified Finance/Business/Legal with a proven track record of success with more than 10 years of significant general accountant experience from MNC environment
• Good understanding of relevant legislation and internal and external compliance requirements
• Ability to think outside the box and identify issues and solutions to those issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey information and ideas to individual and groups, with the ability to gain the confidence of senior management
• A high degree of organisation skills
• Excellent management skills including the ability to plan, set goals; and manage time, priorities, accountabilities, schedules and cost
• Negotiates successful outcomes that achieve the required objectives and have the support and acceptance of all parties
• Pro-active, goal oriented with excellent attention to detail
• Effectively manages change of work tasks and the work environment, and assists others with adapting to change
• A person on integrity who is trusted by others and consistently honours their commitments
• Able to identify issues, problems and opportunities; make timely decisions; develop appropriate and innovative solutions; and ask for assistance if required
• Demonstrates initiative and a willingness to learn and continuously improve on performance

Required:

• Experience with a large ERP
• Exposure to a contracting/engineering/construction or multi disciplinary service environment well regarded
• Experience working in multiple jurisdictions cross Asia
• A recognised Bachelor Degree (or Master Degree) or equivalent qualifications with an emphasis in quantitative discipline such as finance, business and legal
• Postgraduate qualifications in the relevant discipline such as CA or CPA; management or supervisory qualifications or equivalent
• This will be a 12-months contract role with a possibility for renewal or converted to permanent.
