Our client is an international technology company, who are looking to hire an Accountant with career progression opportunity into a managerial position. This Accountant will be responsible for finance and accounting matters for the assigned legal entity(s) in the company. This role will be supporting and reporting directly to the CFO, based in KL. Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for full set of accounts and maintenance of accurate financial records and reports.
- Perform reconciliation of bank statements and other reports on a regular basis.
- Close liaison with external auditors, tax agents and bankers.
- Participation in tax computations and estimates.
- Involvement in drafting SOPs and provide support for the HR functions.
- Perform ad-hoc duties and assignments as and when required.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant financial reporting experience.
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Accountancy or possess professional qualification ie. ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, or equivalent.
- Possess strong critical thinking, independent, team player and willingness to learn and improve processes.
- Excellent written and communication skills in English.
