Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. Candidates with an audit firm background are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and review full sets of accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements. Ensure timely submission of statutory requirements including audit, taxation, SST, EPF, SOCSO, and EIS. Handle cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting activities. Review and monitor account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant financial regulations. Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff to ensure timely and accurate deliverables. Develop and improve internet control processes, accounting systems, and workflow efficiency. Support management in strategic planning and any ad-hoc financial projects.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent). Minimum 3-4 years of relevant working experience, preferably from an audit firm background. Stong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory compliance. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
