Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform necessary steps to support the completion of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Financial Close to the highest standards ensuring accuracy and appropriate supporting detail is in place.
• Full reconciliation and maintenance of detailed P&Ls and balance sheet GL.
• Responsibility on close activities for period end closing, fixed assets, lease accounting, intangible assets, payables and accruals.
• Support on site treasury management, payment, FX conversion, cash forecasting, BNM reporting and compliant.
• Involve in Preparation of Finance Reports (CERA Tracking, Fixed Assets, PR Tracking etc). Support Fixed Assets Tracking and asset tagging.
• Responsibility for Financial regulatory compliance, support on tax compliance and liaison with external accounting and global business services (shared service providers).
• Works closely with global business services in order to deliver the range of accounting services required.
• Assist in setting up and implementation of Business Process and Finance Operating Procedures for the site.
• Support implementation and maintenance of internal controls. Ensure adherence to internal policies, best practice policies and SOX compliant.
• Responsible for record retention on finance-related documents.
• To perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Dealing with other ad-hoc matters as they arise.
• Embed a continuous improvement culture to ensure process and service standardization and consistency.
• Provide accurate and timely information to internal and external customers.
• Lead or assist with various finance and accounting projects including the update of accounting policies and procedures.

Qualification

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree / Professional Degree in Accounting and/or Finance

Experience

• Min. of 4 to 6 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in related finance and accounting field
• Knowledge on accounting framework i.e. US GAAP, IFRS, MPERS
• Experience in accounting and financial systems
• Has experience and knowledge on period end financial closing, reconciliation and maintenance of detailed P&Ls and balance sheet GLs
• Experience in US SOX404 is added advantage

• Knowledge on financial regulatory and tax compliance
• Possess strong analytical skills, and meticulous in delivery of work
• Has problem solving skills and able to determine decision after understanding of their impact to business
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build strong working relationship with shared service business partners, internal customers, external consultants and auditors
• Good in Excel and PowerPoint presentation
