Key Responsibilities
General Accounting
Handle full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation).
Monitor daily accounting transactions and ensure timely, accurate postings.
Prepare and review journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
Conduct monthly bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Accounts Payable (AP)
Process supplier invoices, staff claims, and vendor payments.
Verify accuracy of billing and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
Maintain and update AP aging reports.
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Prepare customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
Update AR records and maintain AR aging reports.
Liaise with sales teams and customers on billing issues.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and schedules.
Support budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis.
Provide financial data and reports to management as needed.
Compliance & Audit Support
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and banks during audits or reviews.
Prepare required audit schedules and documentation.
Review and guide junior accounting staff.
Oversee day-to-day accounting processes and ensure accuracy.
Lead improvements to accounting procedures and internal controls.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
At least
1-3 years
experience for Executive;
3-5 years
for Senior Executive.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, Xero, QuickBooks, SAP).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas).
Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in handling full set of accounts.
Knowledge of SST/GST, tax regulations, or payroll.
Prior experience in audit firms or corporate finance.
Experience in process improvement or system migration.
