Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Senior Accounts Executive

to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support audit and compliance processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP). Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes. Reconcile inter-company transactions and balances. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations, including preparation and filing of VAT/GST and other statutory returns. Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities as needed. Review and improve internal control systems and accounting procedures. Supervise junior accounting staff and provide necessary training or support.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/CPA/CMA preferred). Minimum 4-6 years of experience in accounting or finance roles. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficient in accounting software such as SAP, Tally, QuickBooks, or Oracle. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
