About Our Client:
We are currently recruiting for a few multinational companies, rapidly expanding in the FMCG consumer/Industrial products industry in Malaysia who are looking to hire experienced Senior Accounts Executive, who will be responsible for full set of accounts. This is a newly set up entity in Malaysia and the successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to the Finance Manager, based in Puchong or Damansara.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for full set of accounts which includes AR, AP, GL and taxation scopes.
- Perform month end closing activities, relevant reconciliations and preparation of financial reports.
- Assist in preparation of forecast and budgets.
- Responsible for liaison with external parties which includes company secretary, bankers and manage yearly audit and tax submissions.
- Actively participate in continuous improvements for both system and finance SOPs.
- Perform ad-hoc duties and assignments as and when required.
- Possess Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or professionally qualified accountant ie. CPA, ICAEW, ACCA, MICPA, or equivalent.
- Minimum 4-5 years of relevant financial reporting and full set of accounts experience, career foundation in an audit firm would be an added advantage.
- Possess strong critical thinking, interpersonal and ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and communication skills in both Mandarin and English, for liaison with stakeholders in South East Asia countries.
