Role Overview

Our client are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive / Senior Accounts Executive to join our finance team. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and supporting month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts Management

Handle full sets of accounts, including AP, AR, and GL functions Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules

2. Financial Reporting

Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes Support preparation of financial statements and management reports

3. Compliance & Audit

Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and local regulations Liaise with external auditors and tax agents during audits and filings as required

4. Process Improvement

Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency Support implementation of system enhancements and automation initiatives

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Accounting. Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience; experience in handling full sets of accounts preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Organized, meticulous, and a good team player. Auditing experience with Big Four or mid-tier firms is an advantage. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
