• Perform more complex daily collection activities to ensure cash are allocated accurately and timely and reconcile the AR to a current status to avoid disputes by debtors/ external party.
• Focus on managing a portfolio of receivable accounts, and ensuring aged balances remain within the set business targets
• Follow up on unallocated incoming payment and collect payments on outstanding balance.
• Resolve disputes with internal functional teams independently and escalate to team lead where necessary
• Prepare bad debts provision and ensure accuracy in preparing collection reports and other relevant reports.
• Ensure compliance to agreed service levels, company policies and procedures
• Support and propose continuous improvement initiatives for increased process efficiency
• Develop and maintain working relationships with customers to ensure that solutions are adopted, implemented and maintained appropriately.
• Participate in internal / external audit. Provide required information.
• Cooperation with cross function teams within SSC for monthly closing activities

YOUR PROFILE

• Degree in relevant field (Commerce, Finance, Accounting)
• Minimum 3 years of work experience, preferably in Collections/Accounts Receivables. Industry or shared services experience is an added advantage
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge / use of ERP and office productivity tools (MS Office etc.)
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
