About the Role DevSecOps engineer adds value primarily by improving the management, governance of DevSecOps Best Practices across the Group and Business Units. He/She will be responsible for maintaining the day-day operations, on-boarding of new applications onto the platform and guide Business Units on the adoption of the platform. Responsible for the automating delivery processes and maintaining the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline by: . Collaborates closely with development teams to understand their current build and release processes and make recommendations for improvement. . Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, including development, operations, quality assurance and security, to streamline processes. . Provides guidance to development teams to improve performance and operability of the solutions they develop. . Builds and maintain the CI/CD pipelines to improve developer productivity, agility, and code quality. . Works with Solution Architecture COE to make application templates available on the DevOps platform with related modifications to CI/CD pipelines . Develops and continuously improve automation solutions to enable teams to build and deploy code efficiently and consistently. . Builds automated testing to reduce manual effort and improve product quality. . Ensures that systems meet business and customer needs for reliability and availability. . Monitors and manages platform (tools and integrations) performance and service quality, including initial troubleshooting, identification of root cases and issue resolution. . Works closely with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze and troubleshoot complex production issues. Minimum Job Requirements: . Education - Undergraduate degree holder in Information Technology /Computer Science or equivalent discipline . Strong collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team. . Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. . Ability to investigate and analyze information, and to draw conclusions. . Inquisitive, flexible, adaptable, with a strong desire to learn new computer programming languages, tools and technologies . Strong verbal and written communication skills. . Disciplined and structured and able to work under a fast-paced learning environment. . Knowledge in one or more coding languages e.g. Java, Python is highly desirable #LI-SS1
