Your Job: Reporting to the Assistant Regional Controller, the incumbent would be expected to take on a lead role in the control and financial reporting activities for the APAC region and countries. This requires sound knowledge in control framework, financial reporting, Corporate Financial Instructions (CFI), US and local GAAP, regional policy & standard procedures. The successful incumbent will work independently, represent the region controller team in meetings with various stakeholders, and effectively contribute by giving feedback and making recommendations. The incumbent will also take a leading role in communicating and answering queries from the local finance team and GBS, hence the ability to communicate well with all levels and people of a different culture is an essential requirement in this role. Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities: To maintain the integrity of financial reporting and control effectiveness for APAC region and countries by working with APAC GBS and country finance team: Financial statement and reporting review- APAC/Unit Partnering with GBS Record to Reporting, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Treasury and Operations Accounting policy and CFI update Train customers on CFI\'s and other internal policies. Review controls requirements with process owners (through inquiry, observation, and walkthroughs) Support to projects such as automation, migration, and process improvement Manage the identification and recommendations to improve financial and internal controls and other business processes and practices Essential Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in business administration/accounting Practical knowledge of country and U.S Accounting requirements Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and computerized accounting software, knowledge in SAP Team player with good communication & interpersonal skills An independent person with a high degree of maturity, integrity & initiative Good command of written and spoken English is essential Degree in Accounting or professional accounting qualifications such as CPA, MIA, ACCA, CIMA or its equivalent with at least 5 - 7 years financial accounting exposure in Corporate Business Thorough understanding of US and International Accounting Standards More than 2-year experience in US GAAP tax accounting 3 years\' experience under SAP operation About You: You\'re driven to perform at the highest level possible, and you appreciate a performance culture fueled by authentic caring.You want to be part of a company actively dedicated to sustainability, inclusion, wellbeing, and career development.
