BAT DIGITAL BUSINESS SOLUTIONS IS LOOKING FOR A SENIOR ANALYST, PLANNING AND REPORTING (FINANCE)

SENIORITY LEVEL: Experienced Non-Management

FUNCTION: Finance (P&R)

SALARY RANGE: Starting at RM 3,900 + Excellent Benefits + Bonus

LOCATION: Bandar Sunway, Selangor

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

This role will support the preparation of the statutory and management accounting reporting process, and will perform tests, reconciliations, analysis with the purpose of testing the reasonability of the various financial reports, which include financial statements, information package supporting various decision points from the Integrated Business Planning & Management process. This role aims to enable the shared service centre to meet their business objectives by providing quality general accounting analysis and overall business support for end markets.

Reporting Level: Individual Contributor

Geographic Scope: Asia Pacific & Middle East

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Serve as an independent contributor for a component of the Record to Report function, including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Reconciliations, Month End Close, Statutory & Financial Reporting, Management Reporting, Product Costing data integrity and quality.
• Perform specific tasks allocated by the line manager in the area of integrity, quality and reasonableness of the management and statutory reporting process.
• Assists in preparing various submissions of the management reporting unit and legal entity reporting requirements as per the deadlines and with the frequency set by the IBPM process.
• Identify material movements based on the pre-established template
• Perform analytical review to ensure the movements vs. previous periods or vs. the previous forecast make sense

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• At least 1-2 years of experience from an FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment in General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Reconciliations, Month End Close, Statutory & Financial Reporting, Management Reporting, Product Costing Data Integrity and Quality
• In-depth knowledge of relevant accounting terminology for own department and organization-wise
• A good understanding of relevant finance tools and systems, specifically BI/BPC, SAP or ERP equivalent
• Ability to work well with other team members and achieve productive working relationships
• Able to play a part in projects and process improvements and handle a remote/virtual customer base model
• Meticulous, analytical, proactive, and can work under pressure with minimum supervision
• Knowledgeable in identifying risks and in implementing controls
• Minimum qualification \xe2\x80\x93 a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration or equivalent
