Entity and activity description:
Finance Business Service Centre: The Future of Finance is Strategic!

Established in Kuala Lumpur in early 2017, the BSC Finance manages financial transactions for Air Liquide entities in the Southeast Asia Pacific region, covering the transactions related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables and Collections as well as General Ledger. Backed by a highly experienced group of finance personnel, the team work on Continuous Improvement Projects that leverage on new and emerging technologies as well as automation to drive operational and cost efficiencies, while progressively increasing expertise to enlarge the scope of activities such as reporting and IFRS 16 implementation.

How Will You Be Contributing to Our Success?

Responsible to manage transactional treasury activities such as hedging, cash flow forecasting, FX rate update

Requires to work closely with Cluster Treasury on all Treasury related matters

Prepare and post journal entries for bank related transactions

Handle Bank Reconciliation and Balance Sheet Reconciliation for bank related accounts

Handling bank revaluation

Responsible to prepare and submit Treasury related reports during month end close

Working closely with Payment Team in managing treasury related matters on daily basis

Assist with internal control activities in accordance with group policies

Support external / internal audit activities

Who Are We Looking For?

The successful candidate should have:

Min 3 - 5 years of working experience in treasury, audit, commercial accounting or shared services accounting is required

Experience in handling Treasury operational activities is a must

Must be fluent communication in English, both verbal and written.

Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration

Good knowledge in accounting principles , local & international accounting standards

Strong numerical, analytical and communication skills are required

Conversant in Oracle and Google Suite is a preferred but experience with other ERPs may be considered
