We are looking for a talented Senior Application Engineer to join our team based in Puchong, KL. This is a hybrid role reporting to the Application Engineering Manager. This role will also require travelling within Malaysia.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Develops strong working relationships with customer technical counterparts to serve as their primary liaison to deliver product technical information, manage product specifications, communicate product change information and conduct installation reviews
• Applies technical expertise in the areas of product, application and market knowledge to support Customer product selection
• Develop package bill of material to meet customer specification, Cummins requirements and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and deliver project specific engineering documents to customer.
• Assures installation quality by validating prototype machine / Vessel performance and ensuring installations meet Cummins requirements
• Managing the Industrial, Defense, Marine and Oil & Gas project from sales kick-off to commissioning and handover to customer.
• Provides technical direction to Application Engineer and commissioning technicians
• Manage small or medium size of Application Engineering team

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronic Engineering with 6 to 8 years of Diesel Engine application and design experience in Industrial, Defense, Marine and Oil & Gas markets.
• Good communication skill
• Knowledge of Auto CAD /Creo is desirable
