Location: APAC IT Hub, Kuala LumpurJob Purpose:

• Responsible for multiple applications by Function eg. All applications within Front Office/ Back Office/ Middle Office
• Perform the business analysis and detailing of requirements maintaining the overall vision in mind for all solutions within Recruitment, Sales, Order Fulfilment, Timesheet processing, Payroll, Billing, Finance (AR, AP, GL, Financial close activity)
• Responsible for guiding, coaching Application Support Analysts to have a deeper knowledge of applications, business processes and business requirements

• Regional Solution Delivery Manager
• Project Managers
• Solution Developers, Testers
• Solution & Infrastructure Architects
• IT Production Team
• External partners for solution development
• IT Business Partner

Measured on:

• Quality and completeness of high level and detailed design documents

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Act as the key systems authority for assigned business solutions
• Guarantee all work is compliant with internal and external audit requirements and complies with financial legislative requirements (e.g. statutory, reporting, tax etc)
• Work closely with the Solution Architects, Infrastructure Architects and other technical team leads to ensure any proposed solutions fully integrate with existing and developing architectural patterns.
• Design the details of the application both functionally and technically
• Create design documents: high level functional and non-functional design as technical design specifications
• Consult with (when needed) and obtain design validation by Architecture team
• Ensure solutions are technically robust and are technically fit for purpose
• Work with project managers to ensure designs and technical deliverables meet project objectives.
• Monitor technical activity within projects, highlighting major issues and formulating solutions.
• Evaluate systems change proposals ensuring adherence to or adaptation of the architecture and strategy.
• Champion implementation of architectural changes within the agreed programme of work.
• Package evaluation and recommendation on \xe2\x80\x9cbuild or buy\xe2\x80\x9d decisions.
• Provide level 2 (application level) support as required for the responsible solutions area
• Identify and recommend vendors for the development and maintenance of responsible solution area
• Validate the vendor KPIs and SLAs are clearly defined in the contracts before going to procurement
• Manage the vendor(s) to make certain they are performing to contractual agreements
• Act as service owner for APAC applications and provide assistance when required
• Work in IT security risk compliance related tasks. For example, yearly self-assessment
• Coordinate & functional support with third party vendor in applications which supporting by AMS Team
• Provide support in vulnerability management

People, Resource management responsibilities& Decision Power:

• Design approach and creation of functional, non-functional and technical design details in alignment with Architecture
• Release Train / upgrade cycle for a solution

Minimum requirements& Personal attributes:Education and certifications/training:

• University degree in an IT technical subject
• Coaching certification preferred in application architecture or solution design
• ITIL Certified

Professional & Leadership experience:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in a position of comparable complexity
• Good Experience/Knowledge of software development methodologies and/or ITIL Service Management processes
• Experience of using Oracle, MS-SQL, Windows Server, Web servers, Azure or other database technologies to deliver major systems.
• Troubleshooting experience in Enterprise Applications
• Knowledge of software development methodologies
