Our opportunity for you:

Job Title : Senior Assistant, Accountant (Temporary Role - 6 Months)

Location : Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia

Department: Regional Finance

Reporting to: Manager, Regional Finance

Direct Reports: Manager, Regional Finance

Key responsibilities:

• Key person in assisting and managing mailbox distribution by ensuring the daily incoming email tagged and allocated to the respective mailbox.

• Provide support as needed, to deliver on-time completion of the direct cash application in the system (SAP S4 HANA).
• Ensure high accuracy and the turnaround is within the stipulated timeline for client invoice settlement update.
• Actively update the incoming email and issue log on daily basis and share the log to IC lead and team.

Attributes/ Technical Skills:

• Team player with good people and communication skills
• Able to work under pressure in meeting deadlines
• Result-oriented and detail-minded person
• Self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility, committed, good interpersonal skills, with a strong desire for growth and career progression

Relevant Experience:

• At least 1-3 years of relevant experiences

Educational Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification

Computer Skills:

• Computer proficiency in MS Office Application
• Experience in SAP ECC or SAP HANA system will be an added advantage

Languages:

• Good written and oral communication skills in English
