We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team as an Senior Assistant, Legal & Trust Management team at Vistra Corporate Services (Malaysia). This role assists with Trust Operations Support function. The position will be supporting the Trust Relationship Managers to deliver trust & corporate services to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Trust Managers in delivering a full suite of trust and corporate services to clients
  • Liaise with Trust Managers.
  • Provide prompt, excellent and professional trust and company administration services
  • Ensure that clients\' data base is kept up to date along with clients\' records and accuracy of data being captured in the appropriate system
  • Conduct administrative reviews on existing trust and company structures.
  • Prepare and draft Trust-related documents
  • Conduct name screening of trust related parties
  • Ensure regulatory filings are conducted on a timely basis
  • Participate in transaction monitoring and review trust accounts
  • Comply with the Group\'s internal control and audit standards
  • Participate in ad hoc projects or matters that are ancillary to trust administration, including but not limited to invoicing and credit control.
Key Requirements:
  • Develop and maintain adequate trust knowledge to deliver full suite of trust and corporate services to clients
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of trust and corporate structures
  • Detail oriented able to work with minimum supervision in a fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Develop interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic; professional and approachable
  • Able to multitask and is meticulous
  • Inquisitive and self-motivated
  • Strong knowledge of the regulatory and compliance regime
  • Able to work independently without supervision
  • Possess 2 years of trust administration experience or relevant experience in legal, accounting or company secretarial work. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Educated to degree level of equivalent professional qualification
  • STEP qualification would be an advantage
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Packages including Power point, Excel and Word.
