We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Assistant in the Trust Operations Support. Reporting to the Manager, Legal and Trust Management, this full-time and permanent position is based in Malaysia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Trust Operations Support and its\' growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the Trust Commercial Team and Client Acceptance Team in delivering a full suite of trust administration and corporate services to clients
  • Prepare and draft Trust-related documents and other on-boarding documents with the available templates.
  • Conduct KYC including name screening of trust related parties and participate in due diligence exercise during client on-boarding process.
  • Review and comment on trust deeds, supplemental deeds, agreements and other documents from an operational point of view to ensure accuracy and applicability.
  • Ensure that clients\' data base is updated in accordance with clients\' records and the accuracy of data being captured in the appropriate system.
  • Conduct administrative reviews on existing trust and company structures
  • Comply with the Group\'s internal control and audit standards.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects or matters.
Key requirements:
  • Fluency in English
  • Good English drafting skills
  • Chinese literacy is an added advantage
  • Detail oriented and be able to work independently with minimal supervision under tight deadlines
  • Develop and maintain adequate trust knowledge to deliver full suite of trust and corporate services to clients
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the regulatory and compliance regime
  • Strong work ethic; professional and approachable
  • Inquisitive and self-motivated
  • Educated to degree level of equivalent professional qualification
  • STEP qualification would be an advantage
  • Possess trust administration experience or relevant experience in legal, accounting or company secretarial work.
  • Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
