Reporting to the Manager, Client Accounting and to be based in Kuala Lumpur. We offer you valuable insights into advanced accounting and financial practices, enhancing your skills and knowledge.Key responsibilities:

  • Handling a portfolio of clients for accounting services which includes monthly closing, audit liaison, treasury services and other ad-hoc tasks.
  • Ensuring Malaysian Tax rules are complied with such as Corporate Tax (Form C, CP204), Service Tax submissions (SST, DST), Withholding Tax submissions and other advisory/adhoc services.
  • Assisting clients with Tax Computation, Reviewing and Submission of Tax Returns for Companies and Individuals.
  • Communicating with multiple parties (ie. clients, auditors, authorities) to ensure mutual understanding between all parties.
  • Working closely with colleagues within the department as well as other departments to ensure quality of deliverables are maintained.
  • Ensure timely submission of deliverables to clients.
  • Other accounting duties or assignment.
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum bachelor\'s degree in accountancy or equivalent and qualified certification.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably within an accounting firm
  • Experience working with XERO and other accounting software is preferable
  • Experience in leading a team of at least 2-3 team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
