At Grab, our Strategic Finance team drives our financial strategy to ensure sustainable profitable growth. We partner with different departments to provide senior management with both operational and financial analysis, strategic planning, and decision support, ensuring that Grab continues to expand.
Get to know the Role
Reporting to our Head of Commercial Operations & PMO, Strategic Finance, this role is designed to prioritize strategic finance while maintaining strong controllership and operational finance support. You will expect to play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance monitoring, while also ensuring the integrity of financial processes and audit readiness.
This is an onsite role and our office is based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will lead the development of financial forecasting models, incorporating main goals and market trends.
• You will conduct in-depth financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning, and prepare insightful management reports.
• You will partner with business leaders to understand their financial needs and provide timely and accurate financial information.
• You will build relationships with key stakeholders, providing financial expertise and guidance to support business decision-making and strategic initiatives.
• You will use SQL and Databricks to extract and analyze large datasets, and develop financial models.
• You will take a hands-on approach, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data, and resolve issues, participating in special projects.

Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 5 or more years of experience in strategic finance and financial controllership roles.
• Understanding of financial reporting and accounting standards.
• Proficient in Oracle ERP, Concur and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working in SSC and regional finance team is an advantage.
