Our Client:
A Malaysian conglomerate company listed in Malaysia Main Market Bursa based in Kuching, Sarawak.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for conducting the financial, compliance, technical, and operational risk-based audits across the Groups.
- Create and provide value-added recommendations to achieve the right balance between risks and controls which will contribute to improved business profitability.
- Deliver quality audit reports.
- Implement risk/ control assessments and create risk-based audit plans.
- Assist Audit Managers in the planning and preparation of internal/external quality assurance programmes.
- A bachelor\'s degree in accounting, Finance, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, IT, MBA, or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Preferably a member of IIA, CPA, ACCA, MIA, CIMA, BEM, or other recognized professional bodies.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and G Suite skills.
- Has the capability to evaluate the adequacy of risk management and internal controls.
- Critical thinking skills, and report writing abilities, including good interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills.
- Senior Audit Executive must be able to lead an audit team, including planning assignments, resources and execution, and staff development.
