Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled

Automation Tester

to join our QA team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Playwright). Execute automated and manual test cases to identify software defects. Work closely with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and create comprehensive test strategies. Perform regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing. Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives). Continuously enhance test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and test coverage. Provide test reports and communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 2-5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in test automation. Strong knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, Appium). Experience with programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps). Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies. Experience in testing web, mobile, and API applications. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
