Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled
Senior Automation Tester
to enhance automated testing frameworks and ensure high-quality software releases. The role involves developing, maintaining, and executing automation test scripts, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating closely with developers, analysts, and product owners in an Agile environment.Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation tests using
Cypress
and API testing tools such asPostman
andRestAssured
. Integrate automated test suites intoJenkins CI/CD pipelines
. Actively participate inAgile Testing, BDD (Behavior-Driven Development), and Continuous Testing
practices. Conductperformance testing
using tools likeJMeter
orGatling
. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners for effective defect management usingJira
.Must-Have Skills
Strong proficiency in
Cypress
for web application testing. Solid experience inAPI testing
(Postman, RestAssured). Hands-on experience integrating automation tests intoJenkins CI/CD pipelines
. Familiarity withAgile Testing, BDD methodologies, and Continuous Testing
. Proficiency in scripting/programming languages:JavaScript / TypeScript
(Java is a plus). Experience withperformance testing tools
(JMeter, Gatling). Strong knowledge of defect tracking and test management usingJira
.Experience Required
Minimum 6 years of experience
in software testing and test automation.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
