Senior Automation Tester



Location: Kuala Lumpur



Job Summary:



We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Tester to enhance our automated testing frameworks and execute comprehensive automated tests. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality releases through effective testing strategies.





Responsibilities and Duties:


Design, develop, and maintain automation tests using Cypress and API testing tools such as Postman and RestAssured. Integrate automated testing suites into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines. Participate actively in Agile Testing, Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD), and Continuous Testing practices. Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling. Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners using Jira for effective defect management.




Qualifications and Skills:


Proficient in Cypress for web application testing. Solid experience in API testing (Postman, RestAssured). Experience integrating automated tests into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with Agile Testing, BDD methodologies, and continuous testing. Knowledge of scripting/programming languages, particularly JavaScript/TypeScript (Java proficiency desirable). Experience in performance testing with tools like JMeter or Gatling. Proficiency in defect tracking and test management using Jira.
