Senior Software/MES Engineer (AVEVA Wonderware MES)

Overview:

This company is seeking to hire a skilled Software Developer to help with the development of its current projects. Your duties will primarily revolve around extending COTS MES software by writing code, as well as modifying software to fix errors, adapt software to customer requirements, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces. You will also be involved in directing system testing and validation procedures, and also working with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Configuration, Customization & Development of software, adapt it to customer requirements, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.

\xc2\xb7 Directing system testing and validation procedures.

\xc2\xb7 Directing software programming and documentation development.

\xc2\xb7 Consulting with departments or customers on project status and proposals.

\xc2\xb7 Working with customers or departments on technical issues including system design and maintenance.

\xc2\xb7 Analysing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems

\xc2\xb7 Consulting with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces

\xc2\xb7 Designing and developing software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and design consequences.

\xc2\xb7 Preparing reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status.

Qualifications:

\xc2\xb7 Proven experience in development & deployment of model driven Wonderware MES with Operations, Performance and Quality Modules and Skelta BPM.

\xc2\xb7 Must be knowledgeable in both front end and back end development and understand concepts of software engineering in the Wonderware landscape in the FMCG industry.

\xc2\xb7 Must have solid skills in Visual Studio, MVC paradigm and C# & JavaScript programming.

\xc2\xb7 Degree or diploma in computer science, information technology, engineering or related field.

\xc2\xb7 Must possess knowledge of the software development lifecycle and applying it in manufacturing applications.

\xc2\xb7 The desire to work in fast-paced environment.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to develop unit testing of code components or complete applications.

\xc2\xb7 Creativity is always a plus.

\xc2\xb7 Experience working on a variety of software development projects.

\xc2\xb7 Willing to travel within the ASEAN region.
