The Team

The Cloud & Infrastructure team covers both Azure and traditional infrastructure environments including Logicalis Hosted Cloud, customers on premise hardware as well as hosted data centers. We work with the leading focus to be one of Australia\xe2\x80\x99s most capable truly hybrid integration teams. We work with Microsoft Azure to assist customers with their modernization and migration journey. The Senior Azure Specialist role plays an integral role in helping our customers achieve this.

About the Role

An experienced Senior Azure Specialist to join our growing team. In this role you will be working with our enterprise customers helping them to successfully build, implement and automate public cloud infrastructure. You will have an opportunity to showcase your technical expertise with Azure solutions and your deep understanding of Azure services. * Design, build and configure scalable, secure, and reliable cloud architectures on the Microsoft Azure platform.

• Ability to communicate technical designs, issues, and resolutions clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Prepare and deliver As Built As Configured and Standard Operating Procedures and conduct handover transfer with our customers and/or managed services department
• Prepare cloud security related documentation under the guidance of their Security practice.
• Perform discovery workshops, application dependency mapping and Migration of Workloads from On-prem (VMware/Hyper-V) to Azure.
• Leverage vendor relationships to assist with design, configuration and remediation activities based on best practices.
• Assist with managing client expectations with the Project Management team.
• Ability to participate in the creation of new products and solutions by being a member of a crossfunctional team.
• Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) input into statement of works and other documentation.
• Proven record of successful Azure cloud projects
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure components such as virtual machines, storage accounts, networking configurations, and security controls.
• Experience in building and deploying, networking and security technologies in cloud and hybrid

environments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Senior technical Analyst, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.

• Bachelor\'s degree (or equivalent qualification) in software development, computer science, business intelligence, information technology, data management, or other related fields, as well as IT industry experience
• In-depth knowledge of Azure services such as virtual machines, networking, storage, databases, and security.
• Demonstrated experience of building and deploying Azure Architectures using infrastructure-ascode (IaC)
• Proficiency in one or more IaC toolsets Terraform, Bicep, ARM and PowerShell scripting for deployments in Azure, general task automation and system administration.
• Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert are highly desirable
