We\'re looking for dynamic individuals who share our vision and want to contribute to the next chapter of Bjak\'s success.Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team in Malaysia on a hybrid basis. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining the backend systems that are critical to our applications\' success, participate in architecting event-driven systems, and work with cutting-edge technologies to deliver high-impact solutions.Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Optimize application performance, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure the smooth operation of production systems.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to bring innovative ideas to the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Node.js.
• Experience with backend frameworks such as Express.js.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Contributions to open-source projects or personal projects showcased on GitHub or similar platforms.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in software development is preferred, but fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
