Job Scope:

We are seeking a highly skilled and solution-oriented Senior BI Developer to join our Business Intelligence team, and supporting global operations through Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, FDI (Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence) and OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) platforms.

This role is critical in ensuring that ERP, HCM, SCM, EPM, and OTM teams receive accurate, timely, and reliable data by maintaining and troubleshooting BI processes, strengthening data integrations, and maximising the value of our BI technology investments.

The Senior BI Developer will work closely with stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to validate data accuracy, adjust queries as needed, and deliver stable, permanent fixes for recurring issues. The position ensures that BI systems consistently meet business requirements and function as a trusted source of information across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

Developing and enhancing ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) ETL processes to support reporting and integration needs. Managing and optimizing RPD (Repository) models for semantic consistency, scalability, and performance. Working within FDI to manage and validate ETL processes, upload and test data loads, prepare deployment bundles for PRD and develop RPD models in DEV environments. Maintaining, troubleshooting, and fixing BI Publisher reports, including bursting functionalities. Investigating recurring BI issues and implementing permanent solutions to ensure stability and prevent rework. Collaborating with stakeholders across HCM, ERP, SCM, EPM, OTM, and FDI to deliver BI solutions aligned with business needs. Ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and performance across BI and reporting platforms. Providing user support for BI-related queries, troubleshooting, and enhancements. Preparing and maintaining clear technical documentation, including solution designs, fixes, and deployment notes, to support knowledge sharing and continuity.

Required skillsets:

Proven experience as a BI Developer or Senior BI Developer, ideally in a global environment. Strong hands-on expertise with Oracle BI Publisher, ODI, RPD, and FDI. Excellent SQL and ETL development skills. Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (HCM, ERP, SCM, OTM, EPM, FDI). Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to deliver permanent fixes rather than temporary workarounds. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex BI and integration issues. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Education/Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. At least 4 years of relevant BI development/support experience. Oracle certifications in ODI, BI Publisher, or FDI are desirable but not mandatory. Strong understanding of BI systems, ETL frameworks, and enterprise reporting in a global enterprise context.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
