We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented

Senior Billing Executive

to lead and manage the Billing Department. This position serves as the

Head of Billing Department

, responsible for overseeing all billing functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of bills, insurance claims, and payments.

Job Scope:

Lead and supervise the Billing Department, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and compliance with hospital policies and procedures. Ensure that bills and invoices are issued on time with complete and accurate documentation. Respond to and manage correspondence from corporate companies, insurance panels, and managed care organizations (MCOs), while maintaining good rapport with all stakeholders. Monitor and ensure there are no unbilled charges on a daily basis. Adhere strictly to the hospital's credit control policy and work closely with Finance to ensure proper debt recovery and cash flow management. Train, guide, and evaluate billing staff to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent. Minimum

5 years of experience in hospital billing or healthcare finance

, with at least

2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.

Strong knowledge of hospital billing systems, insurance procedures, and credit control policies. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Meticulous, organized, and able to work independently under minimal supervision. Proficient in Microsoft Office and hospital information systems (HIS). Candidates with prior experience in a

hospital or healthcare setting

are highly preferred.
