As a Senior Brand Executive/Assistant Brand Manager at ClearStart, you will play a crucial role in representing our brand and nurturing strong relationships with our key retail partners. This hybrid position, based in Malaysia, reports directly to the Global Business Development Manager. Your responsibilities include strategically managing accounts, understanding their unique needs, and collaborating seamlessly with our internal teams to ensure the successful implementation of our sales and marketing strategies. Essential Functions And Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key retail accounts. Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, understanding their specific needs and requirements, while acting as an advocate for the brand. Develop and implement account-specific strategies to achieve or exceed targets. Plan and execute promotional activities and product launches within key accounts. Ensure that branding and marketing materials are effectively used by the retailer. Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth. Monitor and be on top of market trends, competitor activities, and consumer feedback. Liaise with internal departments such as marketing and supply chain to align strategies with brand objectives. Act as a bridge between the brand and key retail partners to ensure smooth communication and cooperation. Generate regular reports on key account performance, sales, and market insights. Evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and recommend adjustments as needed. Requirements Proficiency in remote collaboration with teams. Effective communicator and strong interpersonal skills. Minimum 3 years in account management in a retail environment. Experience with Watsons is a plus. In-depth understanding of retail operations, market dynamics, and consumer behaviour. Strong business acumen and results-oriented mindset. Self-starter and assertive with a problem-solving mentality. Ability to travel as required for key account meetings and market visits. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure and on tight deadlines. Fluent in both spoken and written English. Interest and experience in the beauty category is an added advantage. Hybrid arrangement: Mondays and Tuesday, WFH. Wednesdays to Fridays, in the office in Kuala Lumpur.
