In this role, a senior business analyst to lead the execution of marketing company calculations within the Operational Transfer Pricing (OTP) process, using the OTP technology. Processes in scope of responsibility include Price setting, in year, Q4 retrospective, and True up. The marketing company transfer price positions are calculated for all markets in scope of the region. The role will report to the Region Tax Delivery Manager and have a dotted line to the OTP Process Lead who is overall responsible for the calculation of all marketing company transfer price positions against the agreed calendar with Group Tax. The OTP Region Analyst will apply their knowledge of the local market tax conditions and Group transfer pricing policy to perform the necessary calculations in OTP (or using the manual template for those markets that are managed outside the OTP system). The region analyst will review the proposed transfer price positions directly with the Group Tax OTP Manager and the market controller, facilitating the conversations required to align and agree the transfer price adjustment to be made. You will need to understand the market specifics and facilitate the update to the Group Tax owned local market dossier explaining how OTP processes should be implemented for the market. An understanding of finance is key with the ability to interpret actual and forecast P&L positions along-with the calculations performed by OTP to set the transfer price positions. Specific activities and relationships include:

• Working with the Process lead to define the annual marketing company OTP calendar in line with Group Tax needs
• Communicating with market controllers and GFS analysts to ensure understanding and planning of Group Tax instructions for the transfer price cycles
• Working with Group Tax to review local market transfer price positions
• Facilitating discussions between Group Tax and market controllers to agree transfer price positions
• Following up with controllers and CFOs to achieve signed off positions
• Working with market controllers and Genpact to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and price updates

The role will include the following:

• Performing annual price setting and in year adjustments for markets in scope (OTP and manual)
• Performing Q4 forecast adjustments for markets in scope (OTP and manual)
• Performing annual true up for markets in scope (OTP and manual)
• Sourcing statutory adjustments from GFS market analysts and controllers to overlay into OTP
• Facilitating adhoc transfer pricing requests between market and Group Tax
• Facilitating update of local market dossier defining how Group Tax policy will be exercised in each market
• Communicating review reports to markets and facilitating feedback with Group Tax to achieve signed off transfer price positions

Typical Accountabilities The OTP Regional Analyst is expected to perform at expert level in the following:

• OTP System execution - Operates across all marketing company processes and have the Transfer Pricing and system knowledge to perform for each market in scope
• Preparation of Segmented P&L \xe2\x80\x93 Understand the structure of the AZ P&L for each market and how it interacts with the OTP sales, marketing & distribution processes. Understand the design of the segmentation rules and translate any changes required to the system accountant to implement.
• Stakeholder Analysis & Change \xe2\x80\x93 Manage stakeholder relationship in Plan, Gather, Analyse and support the Group Tax OTP manager in stakeholder relationships in review and approval and adhoc queries on the transfer price positions
• Requirements Analysis and Design Definition \xe2\x80\x93 Support the OTP Process lead in defining new requirements (from policy, business change continuous improvement) to meet new business demands
• Training and Documentation \xe2\x80\x93 Responsible for ensuring documentation in place for the execution of the OTP marketing company process for the markets in scope of the region.

Role Expectations

• Working experience of minimum 7-8 years in tax, accounting or finance.
• Proven experience of a similar role in P&L cost allocation, planning, or operational transfer pricing
• Proven experience of working with complex integrated systems and data, applying appropriate judgement to deliver exceptional results
• Strong engagement, communication and stakeholder management skills, including excellent presentation and influencing skills
• Experience of working in a regulated environment
• Experience of virtual collaboration to lead, shape and deliver.
