Let\'s talk about the role This is a key role in the DHT Product Innovation organization that delivers on the vision for ResMed\'s financial systems. The role serves as the strategic business linkage between finance functions and DHT. It provides highly-valued consulting level support and guidance through key IT initiatives, supporting the business in adoption of best practice using best-in-class solutions. Finance application delivery is managed as products in an Agile environment in DHT-IT. This role serves the relevant Finance Squad that has specific responsibility for building, configuring, maintaining, and enhancing finance products through their life cycle, as well as providing day to day support to users of these applications. Key responsibilities Working with the relevant teams to ensure that applications work in a way that improves the business and technical fitness of the application portfolio and minimizes its ongoing support costs Be a key subject matter expert in the support and delivery of application and business improvements that add value and support the business in achieving its commercial and strategic objectives Develop productive relationships with Global Product Owners and key users to influence how applications can enable new sources of value and ensure that value is realised and business outcomes are achieved Identify and support user education opportunities that support the continuous improvement of ongoing application usage and encourage the development of a super user community Let\'s talk about you Strong inter-personal and communication skills with colleagues at all level of the business Good understanding of Procure to Pay processes Good understanding of Oracle Application Financial modules Good communications skills (verbal and in written English). Ensure that the squad develops clear detailed documentation that follows ResMed\'s internal control rigour Ability to translate business inputs into viable solutions Demonstrates good team-working skills, working with other squads and other functions to deliver successful outcomes Demonstrates a clear understanding of the environment in which ResMed operates, including the importance of regulatory and legal compliance Define \'as-is\' and \'to-be\' process, data flows and solutions with key business stakeholders and share with other Tribes & Squads Coordinate and lead medium to large IT initiatives and enhancements as required through concept, design, build and deploy stages Develop squad to adopt the importance of providing a high level of service to its customers quickly identify issues, understand requirements and be pro-active in working with users in multiple locations Demonstrate flexibility in working outside of local business hours, in the timely delivery of new solutions and also to participate in discussions with colleagues located in other time zones Ability to travel as required Minimum Qualifications and Experience 10+ years\' experience of working in financial application support and development Experience in implementing Oracle Financial Applications like AP, AR, GL, CE and FA 3-5 full life-cycle implementations in the above mentioned oracle modules Sound knowledge of financial applications and solutions supporting business processes Experience of working in a multi-national organization Experience documenting workflows with tools like MS Visio Experience/knowledge of accounting conventions and t importance of local legislative requirements Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent Preferred Qualifications and Experience Oracle Fusion experience Experience working on EBS(R12) to Fusion projects University degree or equivalent Previous experience in a supervisory role CPA, CA or similar qualification Accounting/Finance experience Certifications in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger or other Oracle financial modules Experience implementing Oracle P2P modules Joining us is more than saying \'yes\' to making the world a healthier place.
