Industry: Manufacturing / Production (Plastic Injection Moulding) Location: Senai, Johor Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

Drive market entry and growth strategies for the EV and automotive segments. Establish short-, mid-, and long-term business objectives aligned with market trends. Prioritize EV charger housings and related components for key customers including UI, Luxshare, and other Tier 1 players. Identify and secure new business opportunities with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and emerging EV ecosystem partners. Lead end-to-end business development activities, from lead generation to contract closure for molded parts, assemblies, and EV housing systems. Manage RFQs, prepare proposals, and lead commercial discussions to meet customer and industry requirements. Collaborate with engineering, tooling, production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction. Support facility readiness initiatives for EV projects, including IATF 16949 certification and production line setup. Monitor key industry trends such as lightweighting, IP-rated plastics, and thermal/flame-resistant materials to guide product development. Benchmark competitors and develop strategies to strengthen market differentiation. Track customer wins, opportunity pipelines, and revenue performance by segment and site. Report business development progress to EXCO and contribute to investment proposal preparations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field. Minimum 8 years of experience in a relevant field, preferably in Plastic Injection Moulding or the Automotive industry. Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, precision molding, 2K, overmolding, spray painting, and thermoforming processes. Proficient in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
