As a Senior Business Process Management (BPM) Engineer at SanDisk, you will play a critical role in transforming and optimizing business processes through the integration of data analytics, automation, and scalable solutions. You will partner with cross-functional teams across Global Operations to analyze existing workflows, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and decision-making.
This role requires a unique blend of business process expertise, data analysis skills, and technical proficiency to design and implement robust solutions aligned with organizational goals and COE data standards. You will also lead initiatives to automate reporting, resolve data quality issues, and incorporate AI technologies into key workflows, enabling continuous improvement and innovation across the enterprise.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage, plan, and organize overall data science, architecture, and analytics programs in alignment with the organizations mission, vision, and goals.
• Conduct business process mapping and assessments to identify gaps and areas for improvement in current workflows.
• Develop scalable business processes, data science initiatives, and analytics programs to support quantifiable business objectives.
• Build business cases, including impact validation and ROI analysis, and prioritize projects for implementation.
• Develop, test, and deploy automated data workflows to ensure functionality, performance, and user satisfaction. Support process roll-outs and core reporting across the organization.
• Serve as a liaison between business teams and IT developers to ensure proposed solutions meet functional requirements and integrate with existing or future systems.
• Drive the optimization and standardization of business processes, leveraging central team partnerships to ensure scalable and sustainable Industry 4.0 solutions across sites.
• Lead projects requiring coordination and management of global resources, ensuring transparency and timely delivery of project milestones.
• Collaborate closely with business units to ensure cross-functional project progress aligns with scope, timeline, and original ROI expectations.
• Promote a continuous improvement mindset by applying lean and agile methodologies and deploying advanced analytics solutions.

Qualifications
REQUIRED:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 23 years of experience in operations or manufacturing, with a focus on system/data implementation, analysis, and process optimization.
• Experience in process mapping or workflow tools (e.g., Visio, BPMN tools).
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as SQL, Power BI, TIBCO Spotfire, and Tableau.
• Ability to present data-driven insights and stories to decision-makers or large audiences.
• Intermediate to advanced presentation skills.
• Ability to create clear, concise reports in various formats (PDF, Word, visualization tools, etc.).

PREFERRED:

• Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, C#, Python, or R.
• Familiarity with statistical methods, predictive modelling techniques, and AI implementations.
• Experience with Oracle, MSSQL databases, and cloud-based data lakes is a plus.

SKILLS:

• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as TIBCO Spotfire, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills; capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and strong multitasking skills.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing workflow improvements.
