Position Overview:

We are looking for a Business Systems Automation Engineer with strong programming and automation skills to enhance and optimize our internal business systems. This role plays a key part in helping multiple teams work more efficiently by streamlining workflows, automating manual tasks, and managing system configurations.

You'll primarily work with the Zoho suite (especially Deluge scripting) but will also collaborate across platforms as we continue to scale. The ideal candidate is technically strong, analytical, and proactive, capable of assessing requirements, determining feasibility, and delivering practical, scalable solutions

Key Responsibilities:

Configure, optimize, and manage business applications (currently Zoho, with readiness for future platforms). Develop automation scripts to improve processes across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product teams. Build and maintain API and webhook integrations with tools such as Slack, Teams, WhatsApp, Telegram, Jira, and monitoring systems. Customize and extend Zoho applications using Deluge scripting to automate workflows and enhance data flow. Write and execute SQL/database queries for reporting, data validation, and debugging. Troubleshoot issues through log analysis (Opensearch or similar) and perform root cause investigations. Design dashboards, pivot tables, and data visualizations to track operational and performance insights. Identify user requirements, assess feasibility, and recommend effective solutions. Maintain knowledge base (KB) documentation and support cross-team adoption of automation solutions. Provide training and mentorship on business systems, automation workflows, and troubleshooting best practices

Requirements:

Strong programming/scripting background (Deluge, Python, JavaScript, or equivalent). Proven experience configuring and automating workflows in Zoho or other CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics, etc.). Experience building API integrations with chat and enterprise systems. Solid knowledge of SQL and database querying. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Hands-on experience with log analysis tools (Opensearch, ELK Stack, or similar). Ability to design automation dashboards and reporting views. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have:

Deep knowledge of Zoho One suite, particularly Deluge scripting. Experience in FinTech, SaaS, or high-scale business system environments. Familiarity with automating notifications or alerts across multiple chat platforms
