Are you ready to take the next step in your culinary journey? We are looking for a Senior Chef de Partie to bridge the gap between station leadership and broader kitchen operations. In this role, youll not only ensure excellence at your station but also support the smooth coordination of the kitchen, mentoring junior staff and contributing to the consistency and quality that defines the Alila dining experience.
Your Role in the Kitchen

• Lead designated kitchen sections with confidence, ensuring food quality, consistency, and presentation meet Alila standards.

• Support Junior Sous Chef and Sous Chef in supervising kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and service readiness.
• Guide and mentor Chef de Partie, Demi Chefs, and Commis, providing coaching and on-the-job training.
• Manage inventory for assigned stations, ensuring correct stock rotation and minimizing wastage.
• Monitor and maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and operational condition of kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Assist in food cost control measures by ensuring portioning and minimizing spoilage.
• Be proactive in addressing any issues in discipline, cleanliness, or kitchen operation, escalating where necessary.
• Step in to support broader kitchen leadership during service peak periods and in the absence of senior chefs.
• Collaborate with the team on new dish development, menu changes, and seasonal promotions.

Qualifications:
What Were Looking For

• Proven experience as a strong Chef de Partie, preferably with exposure to leadership responsibilities.
• Minimum of 3 years working in a professional kitchen, ideally within a 4- or 5-star hospitality environment.
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards.
• Ability to lead a team, coordinate service flows, and handle multiple demands with composure.
• Passionate about food craftsmanship, innovation, and delivering memorable dining experiences.
• A proactive, hands-on team player who thrives in a dynamic kitchen environment.
