Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Assist the Sous Chef or Head of Production in overall supervision of Bakery Production operations. Key person in charge of Bakery Production operations in the absence of Sous Chef or Head of Production. Oversee the daily preparation and production schedule for a designated bakery section maintaining consistency in taste, texture, and appearance. Conduct on-the-job training for junior staff on new techniques, equipment operation, and standard recipes and channeling of information, policies and standards Monitoring of overall Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) & Halal process in the Bakery department. Assist in annual Menu Creations, events and promotions. Monitor ingredient inventory levels and communicate necessary stock replenishment to the Sous Chef or Purchasing team. Conduct monthly inventory counts and assist in managing food cost control. Assignment of work & tasks to all Demi Chef de Partie and below. Ensure disciplinary and grievance procedures are properly adhered to and followed.
Your Ingredients

Candidate must possess at least "O" Level/SPM in any field. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a high-volume bakery, patisserie, or hotel kitchen. Proven experience working at the Chef de Partie (CDP) level or equivalent supervisory role is essential. Preferably experience in a mass production Central Kitchen Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and/or English. Basic knowledge on menu planning. Physically fit to complete job duties.
