Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing civil engineering projects. The Candidate must be able in creating, analyzing, and optimizing Civil & Structural (C&S) designs for various projects, ensuring the design is meeting safety, functionality, and aesthetic. Lead the design process with internal design team and external (Consultant). In-charge of execution of complex civil engineering projects, coordinating with other disciplines and team members, ensuring compliance in technical specification aspect and and compliance to local regulations Able to providing technical expertise & opinion for projects from inception to completion based on good construction standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Take care of the initial C&S design and planning of constructions based on industry standards (UBBL & JKR) and other regulatory requirements. Review and approve design drawings, calculations, and technical specifications. Evaluate and recommend materials, methods, and equipment for construction projects. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed. Liaise with clients, contractors, and government agencies to ensure project requirements are met. Prepare project reports, proposals, and progress updates. Address client concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications:

Education

: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Experience

: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Design of Civil & Structural engineering, with a proven track record of managing projects.

Technical Skills

: Proficiency in CAD software, project management tools, and structural analysis software.

Soft Skills

: Strong leadership, Communication, and problem-solving skills.

Language

Proficiency (written and spoken): English, Mandarin & Bahasa
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
