Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Demonstrate proficiency in civil and structural analysis techniques and software, with a strong understanding of engineering principles and design codes.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities to address complex engineering challenges and develop innovative solutions.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in civil and structural engineering, with a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects.
• Experience in leading and mentoring a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
• Familiarity with local regulations, codes, and standards related to civil and structural engineering in Malaysia.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear and concise recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee structural analysis and design for a variety of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Manage and coordinate civil and structural engineering aspects of projects from conception to completion, including planning, design, documentation, and construction support.
• Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of civil and structural designs with overall project objectives.
• Perform site inspections and assessments to evaluate existing structural conditions, identify potential issues, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff, fostering professional development and ensuring quality of work.
• Utilize advanced software and tools for structural modeling, analysis, and design, staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies.
